Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager – Employee Benefits. You will manage a book of business, lead the account team, and ensure high-quality client service across renewals, new business, and data management.

You will partner with Producers and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, coordinate tasks, and uphold IOA standards. A hybrid work model and career growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience.
• Active licensing required.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational, delegation, and decision-making skills.
• High accuracy in handling large work volumes.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business and meet performance requirements.
• Deliver outstanding client service and respond quickly to requests.
• Lead the account team and coordinate tasks.
• Direct daily activities of Account Coordinator(s) and monitor execution.
• Identify and pursue sales opportunities to grow IOA business.
• Manage new business setup including data gathering and communications.
• Coordinate renewals, rates, and carrier information.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and advocate for clients.
• Support services and compliance with company policies and standards.
• Promote IOA core values and professional development.
