Insurance Office of America (IOA) is seeking an Account Manager – Employee Benefits to handle benefits account management under Producer direction. You will lead the account team, oversee daily tasks, and identify sales opportunities while ensuring high-quality client service and compliance with policy standards.

The role emphasizes client communication, team leadership, and data-driven processes for renewals and new business setup.

Qualifications

• Active licensing is required.
• 5+ years of industry experience.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational, delegation, and decision-making skills.
• High accuracy in handling large work volumes.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring performance requirements are met and no liability occurs.
• Deliver outstanding service, anticipate client needs, maintain professional communication, and respond quickly to requests.
• Lead the account team with a strong work ethic and willingness to assist others.
• Direct daily activities of Account Coordinators, assign tasks and monitor execution.
• Identify and act on sales opportunities to grow IOA business.
• Oversee new business setup including data gathering, file creation, and stakeholder notifications.
• Manage renewals by verifying client data and coordinating with carriers.
• Build and improve client relationships and seek feedback for improvements.
• Advocate for clients and carriers to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Identify value-added solutions and support team development.
