Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks an Account Manager – Employee Benefits to oversee client relationships and supervise the account team. You will coordinate service delivery, renewals, and data management while pursuing opportunities to grow IOA’s benefits business.

The role requires 5+ years of industry experience, active licensing, and strong communication and organizational skills in a remote/hybrid setting within the IOA network.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of account management or related industry experience.

• High accuracy in handling large work volumes.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business and ensure performance requirements are met.
• Deliver outstanding client service and respond quickly to requests.
• Lead the account team and direct daily tasks of Account Coordinators.
• Identify and pursue sales opportunities to grow IOA business.
• Manage new business setup, renewals, data gathering, and compliance.
• Maintain and strengthen client relationships and advocate for clients and carriers.
