Sentara Health in Virginia Beach, VA is hiring a full-time Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist to join the Psychiatric Emergency Response team. The role assesses patients in the ED with behavioral health concerns and provides treatment recommendations.

This is a fully remote position with evening shifts from 3pm to 11pm. Minimum qualifications include a Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling or related field and licensure as LPC or LCSW.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field (Required).
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) - Required.

Responsabilités

• Assesses the social, psychological, cultural, environmental, and financial situation, as well as disposition needs, for each assigned patient.
• Collaborates with patients, families, healthcare team members, and community agencies to develop and implement plans to address identified needs.
