Job summary

MPG seeks an experienced Behavioral Health Clinician for a fully remote role, serving California patients primarily in Pacific Time. You will conduct assessments, diagnose, and deliver evidence-based psychotherapy in a primary care–integrated setting.

Requirements include an active CA license, 3+ years post-licensure, and proficiency in modalities like CBT/DBT/ACT. You will collaborate with psychiatry and PCPs, mentor junior staff, and ensure compliant EHR documentation.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field is required.
• Active, unrestricted California license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or equivalent) is required or willing to obtain licensure in additional states.
• 3+ years post-licensure providing psychotherapy across diverse populations.
• Experience with high-acuity crisis intervention and safety planning.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and establish DSM-5-TR diagnoses.
• Develop individualized treatment plans for mental health and substance use conditions.
• Provide individual and group psychotherapy using evidence-based modalities (CBT, DBT, ACT, MI, PST).
• Coordinate with psychiatry and primary care to deliver integrated care.
• Maintain timely EHR documentation and comply with licensing standards.
