Job summary

Vera Whole Health, Inc. is hiring a Behavioral Health Clinician for a fully remote role requiring a California license. You will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with mental health and substance use concerns within a primary care integration, delivering video visits across California.

Strong candidates have a CA license, 3+ years post-licensure, and expertise in CBT/DBT/ACT, with collaboration across psychiatry and PCPs. This is a full-time, remote position with Pacific Time coordination.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
• Active, unrestricted California license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or equivalent).
• Willingness to obtain licensure in additional states.
• 3+ years post-licensure providing psychotherapy across diverse populations.
• Experience with high-acuity situations including crisis intervention and safety planning.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and establish DSM-5-TR diagnoses.
• Develop individualized treatment plans for diverse mental health and substance use conditions.
• Provide individual and group psychotherapy using evidence-based modalities.
• Manage patient risk through safety assessments, crisis intervention, and care coordination.
• Partner with psychiatry, primary care, and interdisciplinary teams for integrated care.
• Maintain timely, accurate EHR documentation compliant with standards.
