Rosecrance Behavioral Health is seeking an Access Counselor – Specialized Services to coordinate access to care, build referral networks, and support business development. The role emphasizes collaboration with clinical and administrative teams and regular outreach to community sources.

You will engage with hospital systems, EAPs, and safety-sensitive populations, maintain detailed records, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards while delivering compassionate, customer-focused service.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in behavioral health or related field
• Certification in addiction counseling or licensed in IL
• Eligibility as a Mental Health Professional (Rule 132)

Aufgaben

• Serve as primary contact for professional referral sources and clients.
• Assess client needs, determine eligibility, and coordinate services promptly.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to address client challenges.
• Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with standards.
• Build relationships with referral sources and community organizations.
• Collaborate with business development to identify growth opportunities.
• Represent the organization at community events and professional meetings.
• Spend at least one day per week in the community meeting referral sources.
• Act as liaison between the organization and community.
• Follow Compliance Program and Code of Conduct.
• Deliver exceptional customer service.
• Serve as role model for staff, patients and customers.
• Assume other duties as assigned.
