Job summary

SpringHealth Behavioral Health and Integrated Care is seeking a knowledgeable clinician to provide behavioral health services across home, school, and community settings in Texas. The role includes assessments, coordinating visits, and implementing behavior plans to support individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges.

You will collaborate with supervisors and care teams, maintain comprehensive records, and participate in interdisciplinary meetings.

Qualifications

• Experience with behavioral intervention or educational emphasis on learning and development psychology.
• Two or more years of experience with individuals with developmental disabilities or behaviorally challenged populations.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to perform physical tasks (standing, bending, moving from seated to standing).

Responsibilities

• Conducts ongoing assessments to meet patient needs.
• Communicates with supervisors, direct care staff, family, guardians, and collateral individuals about progress.
• Provides monthly schedules of appointments, home visits, and observations to supervisors.
• Coordinates home, work, and community-based visits to meet observation and data collection requirements.
• Ensures implementation of the Behavior Intervention Plan.
• Participates in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings and related meetings.
• Completes monthly/quarterly progress notes.
• Organizes training to certify staff in BIP/delivery and documentation.
• Provides follow-up interviews, home visits, and observations for continued support.
• Maintains strong clinical records for easy access by stakeholders.
• Acts as liaison with the public and mental health community.
• Assists in creating procedures for training materials to improve programs.
• Completes continued education on behavior-based interventions to stay current.
