Job summary

Peter Kazella and Associates, Inc is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive strategic growth in data center liquid cooling solutions. The role focuses on building relationships with decision-makers, expanding market penetration, and influencing specifications across hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise customers.

You will lead opportunity development, coordinate with engineering and marketing, conduct site surveys, prepare proposals, and manage full lifecycle sales from qualification

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or construction management a plus.
• 5-10+ years in BD, Sales, or Account Management in the Data Center Industry.
• Focusing on Commercial Piping / Liquid Cooling / Mechanical Systems.
• Established network within Hyperscale, Colocation, and Enterprise DC sectors.
• Experience selling infrastructure solutions and energy efficiency products.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute an annual BD plan to expand market share in the critical facilities sector.
• Drive direct sales to Data Center End Users, Colocation Providers, Hyperscale and Enterprise DCs.
• Identify new opportunities through consultative sales with key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineering firms and design-build firms to secure specs.
• Manage full lifecycle sales from opportunity tracking to contract execution.
• Conduct site surveys, develop scopes of work, and prepare proposals.
• Lead customer presentations and sales meetings, in person or via Teams.
• Maintain CRM and forecast pipeline; monitor market trends for strategy.
• Represent the company at industry events; work with marketing and product teams.
• Build long-term relationships with clients for growth and repeat business.
