Job summary

FronteraCare Remote is seeking a mission-driven BCBA to lead Initial Assessments (Functional Behavior Assessments) using telehealth and our video-capture technology. You will develop data-driven treatment plans and ensure clinical readiness for case assignment.

This role requires strong clinical judgment, HIPAA and BACB compliance, and the ability to thrive in a startup environment with evolving processes. Remote work with multi-state impact across NM and CO.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience working as a BCBA.
• Bilingual English and Spanish.
• Experience with telehealth and remote supervision.
• Strong clinical writing and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments via caregiver interviews, records review, direct observation, and standardized tools.
• Develop data-driven treatment plans and behavior intervention plans aligned with medical necessity.
• Ensure reports meet payer authorization standards and internal quality benchmarks.
• Prepare cases for smooth transition to ongoing BCBA and RBT teams.
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation.
• Serve as the clinical gatekeeper for new cases and provide clear case summaries.
