Amerit Fleet Solutions in the United States is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Manager to lead a team of technicians in a proactive maintenance program for light-duty vehicles and equipment. The role covers Charlotte, Durham, Columbia, and Atlanta, with remote-based work and regular travel.

Salary ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 plus bonus opportunities; benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k) match, paid time off, and training through Amerit University.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in fleet maintenance or operations.
• 5–8 years of direct management experience.
• Prior technician or mechanic experience.
• Willingness to travel to oversee multiple shop locations.
• Familiarity with light/medium duty vehicle repair.
• Knowledge of DOT rules and company procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead, educate and develop employees.
• Monitor performance and be accessible to all areas of the shop.
• Oversee multiple shop operations and plan daily manpower.
• Provide support to operations regarding equipment issues.
• Monitor costs and improve efficiencies; manage payroll and compliance.
• Interview and hire for shop positions; ensure safe working conditions.
