John Zink Company, a Koch Engineered Solutions (KES) company, is hiring a Field Service Technician to support refining and petrochemical customers in Southern California. You will be the on-site technical expert for commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintaining industrial combustion, electrical, and control systems.

This role requires 75%+ regional travel and a home-based setup within Southern California.

Qualifikationen

• Experience modifying, diagnosing, and troubleshooting PLC based control systems (Allen Bradley, GE)
• Working knowledge of NFPA 70E electrical safety standards
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, and fabrication drawings
• Willingness to travel 75%+ within the assigned region
• Ability to obtain a TWIC within six weeks of employment
• Valid driver's license to operate a company vehicle

Aufgaben

• Travel from home base to customer sites to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning of industrial equipment
• Support electrical, mechanical, and control systems, including PLC logic, VFDs, motors, pumps, valves, actuators, and emissions monitoring systems
• Commission, troubleshoot, and modify industrial control systems and related devices
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and instrumentation issues in live industrial environments with safe practices
• Participate in on-call rotation to support urgent customer needs
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, including redlines on drawings and schematics
• Build customer relationships through clear, proactive communication
