Job summary

Smart Tech Contracting is seeking a BAS / Controls Assistant Project Manager to support project teams in mission-critical environments. You will collaborate with owners, designers, contractors and subcontractors to ensure design, permitting, scheduling and execution align with requirements.

The role emphasizes strong organizational skills, remote collaboration, and the ability to manage multiple tasks, travel up to 10%, and use MS Project and Procore to track progress and budgets.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent construction experience
• Two years of additional experience in lieu of degree
• Minimum of three years of experience in related field

Responsibilities

• Assist with project initiation, kickoff, RFIs and submittals
• Coordinate resource and material forecasting
• Develop, managing and monitoring schedule
• Schedule project meetings, including agendas and notes
• Assist in cost and time schedules for proposed work with the aid of team leaders
• Assign and schedule duties to project team members
• Assist in the preparation of proposals, presentations and the overall marketing efforts of the department
• Assist in project contract administration
• Assist with project closeout
• Assist with internal budgeting and pipeline tools
• Manage personal and project hours using company tools
• Create / complete project and departmental reports
• Completion of assigned tasks and deliverables on time and on budget
