Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an Applications Engineer - Direct Channel to support our Controls global product teams. This remote role, based in the United States, focuses on reviewing BAS project estimates, recommending cost-optimizing strategies, and promoting Johnson Controls products to maximize profitability and market competitiveness.

You will collaborate with account managers and cross-functional teams, maintain Salesforce data accuracy, and assist with special pricing in SAP.

Responsibilities

• Establishing the technical needs of the customer and suggesting appropriate products.
• Training branch Sales and Operations teams on existing and new product offerings and estimation and selection tools.
• Proposal review - thoroughly analyze building automation system proposals and estimates to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Work closely with JCI branch sales teams, engineers, GCoE and project managers to align proposal strategies with client needs and organizational objectives.
• Maintains detailed data tracking of project estimates, proposals, bid stage and pricing variances in Salesforce.

Education

Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
