Job summary

Oriental in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, seeks a telemarketing sales representative to cross-sell banking products by phone. You will respond to referrals, place outbound calls, and secure new customer relationships while meeting sales targets and upholding bank policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience in telemarketing or customer service.
• Experience in a direct telephone sales environment preferred.
• Completion of DSR II Curriculum Requirements.

Responsibilities

• Sells all investment and business banking products via telephone.
• Achieves department sales and personal goals.
• Provides sales training and support to new representatives.
• Responds to TSR referred calls with intent to close sales.
• Places outbound calls to secure new customer relationships for the bank.
• Prospects new deposits, loans, and account relationships.
• Completes accurate fulfillment documents for closed sales.
• Conducts frequent new customer satisfaction surveys.
• Maintains knowledge of bank products, policies and regulations.
• Facilitates referrals to Trust, Major Loans, and Commercial Lending.
