Job summary

Oriental Bank seeks an Associate, Retail Banking (Sales) in San Juan, PR. This temporary 6-month position will involve outbound telemarketing to present consumer and business banking products, cross-selling, and handling new customer relationships.

The role is hybrid and based in Oriental Center building, San Juan. The ideal candidate has an associate degree or related certificate, at least 1 year in sales or customer service, and strong English/Spanish communication with proficiency in

Qualifications

Associate degree or technical certificate in Office, Business Administration or related field required.
One year of experience in sales, telemarketing or customer service required.
Knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) required.
Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish; able to write clearly and concisely.

Responsibilities

Sell all business banking products by telephone.
Achieve department and personal sales goals.
Respond to TSR calls from existing or prospective customers with intent to close sales.
Place outbound calls to secure new customer relationships.
Prospect new accounts, deposits, and loans.
Complete accurate fulfillment documents for closed sales.
Conduct frequent customer satisfaction surveys.
Stay current on bank products, policies, and procedures.
