Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Backend Solutions Architect for a 100% Remote role in the United States. You will design, implement, and operate large-scale backend services, prioritizing scalability, reliability, and performance across distributed systems.

Strong expertise in Java/Go/Scala and Kafka is required to drive high-throughput architectures. The role requires 6+ years of backend experience, experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and the ability to lead architecture

Qualifications

• Six or more years of professional backend engineering experience, with significant time on distributed systems.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Go, Scala, or similar.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems concepts, including consensus, replication, and CAP trade-offs.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka and high-throughput messaging.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement large-scale distributed backend systems.
• Architect data partitioning, replication, and consistency strategies.
• Build resilient APIs and event-driven services with strong observability.
• Lead architecture reviews and trade-off analyses.
• Drive reliability improvements with SRE and platform teams.
• Mentor mid-level engineers and promote code quality and operability.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and runbooks.
