Job summary

Revenued Albania is seeking a Jr. Python Software Engineer - Backend to join our remote team and help enhance automated underwriting by leveraging real-time data and internal services.

You will work with developers, data analysts, and underwriters to deliver credit risk assessments for customers. The role emphasizes Python and PostgreSQL, API integration with external data sources, and building REST services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required; a graduate degree is a plus.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in backend development.
• Strong Python experience and knowledge of PostgreSQL.
• Experience designing APIs and working with RESTful services.
• Familiarity with Git and version control systems.

Responsibilities

• Write internal services to process card applications and underwriting.
• Develop data collection components from external vendors and public APIs.
• Integrate data research into production workflows.
• Explore new technologies to improve the codebase.
• Enhance and fix issues reported by frontend and underwriting teams.
• Create ad-hoc scripts to bulk-process historical data.
