Job summary

HireHi is seeking a senior Python/Django backend engineer to design and build critical backend systems powering our fintech SaaS platform for enterprise finance teams. Remote-friendly, with an optional London office.

You will translate complex business processes into robust data models, develop reliable integrations with modern and legacy systems, and create secure, scalable APIs. A strong portfolio and clear written communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of programming in Python and/or two+ years of Django experience.
• Expertise with the Django framework.
• Experience building and maintaining large-scale applications.
• Excellent database design and optimization skills, including complex data modeling and migrations.
• Understanding of APIs and web services.
• A portfolio demonstrating systematic, well-structured work.
• Clear written communication skills.
• Nice to have: Django REST Framework, AWS experience.
