Job summary

Huntington Bancshares, Inc. is seeking highly capable engineers to join the Architect-guided team responsible for enterprise APIs and production infrastructure. You will work on RESTful APIs in Java/Spring, DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud-ready services, contributing to design, deployment, and reliability.

Create API layers across diverse data sources, participate in agile sprints, and help transition from on-prem to cloud/container environments with modern tooling and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, MIS, or related field.
• 1-3+ years software development experience including building interfaces between data sources and applications.
• 1+ years DevOps experience.
• 1-3+ years Java development with Spring, Eclipse, Maven/Gradle.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers/architects to create common API layer across data sources in an agile model.
• Develop software in an agile environment with DevOps for automated builds, CI/CD and testing.
• Implement enterprise services and APIs under architectural guidance.
• Deliver scalable, quality solutions that meet business needs and include unit tests.
