Job summary

Huntington Bank seeks a Java Fuse Developer – IS Technical Specialist to design and implement Java-based, REST API–driven microservices aligned with enterprise architecture. You will own technical directions and mentor teams while delivering mission-critical IT solutions.

You will lead design sessions, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure high-quality software in agile or waterfall environments. Office-based with flexible work arrangements and strong compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years of experience with Java, WebSphere, REST APIs, Spring Boot, Fuse, GCP, Kafka, JSON.
• 5+ years of experience with DevOps, CI/CD, container-based development, and cloud deployment architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver high‑quality software solutions in agile or waterfall environments.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver technology that drives value for colleagues, customers, and the business.
