Coinbase, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer for the Stablecoin team within the Developer product group.

You will build backend services powering stablecoin issuance, onboarding, and operations, integrating external APIs with internal systems to launch international stablecoins. You will own end-to-end delivery, support smart contracts, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to reliability, observability, and code quality to drive adoption across Retail, Exchange, Prime, and

Qualifications

2+ years of experience building production backend services in service-oriented architecture.
Proficiency in Go and exposure to blockchain fundamentals.
Experience evaluating, integrating, and operating third-party APIs and external partner systems.
Ability to deliver features end-to-end with autonomy from design to deployment.
Familiarity with distributed systems patterns and well-tested production code.
Responsible use of AI to improve workflow efficiency and quality.

Responsibilities

Build backend services that power stablecoin issuance, onboarding, and operations, including integrating external partner APIs with internal systems.
Own end-to-end delivery of features from technical design through production, collaborating with product managers, designers, and tech leads.
Support the smart contracts that mint, burn, and safeguard stablecoin supply with senior engineers on design and security review.
Partner with cross-functional teams across Stablecoins UX, Growth, and Ecosystem to deliver rewards and conversion features.
Execute reliability and quality improvements across the platform with well-tested code and observability improvements.
