Job summary

Speechify is seeking a Software Engineer, Platform to own the backend APIs for payments, subscriptions, auth, and analytics, serving millions of users across iOS, Android, web, and extensions. You will design, build, and ship scalable services in TS/Node, deploy on Kubernetes and GCP, and work with product, mobile, and web teams to stay ahead of the product roadmap.

Qualifications

• Backend development experience with TS/Node.
• Experience with cloud providers (GCP, AWS or Azure).
• Demonstrated ability to deploy scalable services on container platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and own the APIs behind payments, subscriptions, auth, consumption tracking, and our public TTS API.
• Improve services to be faster, cheaper, and harder to break.
• Automate repetitive tasks and enable repeatable workflows for the team.
• Collaborate with product, mobile, and web teams to stay ahead of the roadmap.
