Job summary

AFFIRM's Streaming team builds data infrastructure to power event-driven architectures, leveraging open source tech and in-house tools. You will design, implement, and launch backend services in Python or Kotlin, collaborating with product, design, and analytics to deliver robust data solutions.

Qualifications

• 1.5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience designing, developing and launching backend systems.
• Proficient in Python or Kotlin.
• Familiar with distributed systems, AWS, Kafka, Flink and Kubernetes.
• Able to write clear, well-tested, extensible code.

• Break down large projects into tasks and deliver in phases.
• Collaborate with product management, design & analytics.
• Support operations, monitoring, and on-call efforts.
