Qualifications

• 1.5+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• Experience designing, developing and launching backend systems; proficient in Python or Kotlin.
• Familiar with distributed systems and technologies like AWS, Kafka, Flink, and Kubernetes.
• Ability to turn a simple business problem into a multi-component solution with well-tested code.
• Comfortable navigating a large code base and performing code reviews.
• Shows ownership of growth through seeking feedback from team, manager and stakeholders.
• Strong verbal and written communication for global collaboration.
• Equivalent practical experience or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Break down projects into tasks and deliver in phases.
• Collaborate with product management, design & analytics on ideation and decisions.
• Create and monitor metrics; support on-call efforts and keep systems running smoothly.
