Job summary

NinjaHoldings in Chicago is seeking a backend Software Engineer to build and improve our digital banking and analytics platforms. You will work with a cross-functional team to design, develop, and refactor services, integrate with external systems, and drive performance improvements.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in backend web app development with Ruby on Rails, plus SQL and data-model design experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional backend software engineering experience.
• Strong Ruby on Rails experience; Hotwire Turbo/Stimulus and Tailwind are a plus.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable software.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop or modify backend software with attention to service architecture.
