Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) with 3+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s with 2+ years.
• Experience in Go, TypeScript, or equivalent statically-typed language; scripting with Ruby or Python.
• Backend experience with RESTful APIs and relational databases.
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices, and Kubernetes.
• Experience applying AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, Claude).

Responsibilities

• Architect and scale cloud video streaming, exports, and cloud video storage services.
• Design and implement high-performance APIs and backend services in the Meraki Dashboard.
• Develop scalable, cloud-native solutions on AWS with high availability and fault tolerance.
• Contribute across the full stack, including UI components and firmware interactions as needed.
• Own services from design through deployment, including testing, instrumentation, and production observability.
• Lead incident resolution, post-mortems, and root-cause analyses to improve resilience.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and partner teams to define requirements and roadmaps.
