Job summary

Chamberlain Group seeks a Principal Software Architect in Platform Engineering to lead the design and delivery of a planet-scale video platform supporting video streaming, storage, and computer vision for IoT devices. You will set API standards, drive architecture decisions, and mentor multiple engineering teams across platforms, including cloud, firmware, and front-end.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of relevant software industry experience required.
• Experience with cloud architecture and large-scale platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team to design and build the next generation video platform.
• Define APIs, guidelines, and standards for cloud software development.
• Mentor engineers and drive continuous improvement across teams.
• Collaborate with AI/ML, UX, infrastructure, and firmware teams.
• Ensure security and adherence to ISO 27001 controls.
