Job summary

Directive Consulting, a leading B2B marketing agency, seeks a Paid Strategist to drive client campaigns across LinkedIn and other paid social platforms. This remote-first role focuses on building high-performance strategies for technology, industrial, and services clients.

You will manage multiple mid‑tier and enterprise accounts, collaborate with stakeholders, and optimize budgets. Travel ~1x/year; is client-facing and data-driven, with strong analytics and storytelling required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a performance/digital marketing agency supporting B2B clients.
• Deep expertise in paid social campaigns, especially LinkedIn Ads.
• Knowledge of LinkedIn ad units: conversation ads, document ads, CTV.
• Proficient with LinkedIn Campaign Manager, ZoomInfo, 6Sense.
• Strong paid media fundamentals: keyword research, copywriting, bidding, optimization.
• Able to analyze campaign data with GA/GA4, Excel to drive decisions.
• Experience with audience segmentation by tier and job title.
• Proven success with mid-market or enterprise accounts.
• Ability to translate strategy into data-driven storytelling.
• Travel to client sites about once per year.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and lead a collection of social media accounts.
• Provide direct support to client contacts.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure task quality and improvements.
• Build quarterly client strategies.
• Create and manage budgets for paid media campaigns.
• Understand client positioning and value propositions.
• Ensure lead routing is accurate within a CRM.
• Collaborate with Associate Director to meet goals.
• Drive cross-sells, upsells, and referrals through client relationships.
• Execute and optimize LinkedIn campaigns, including ad copy and targeting.
