Job summary

GuidePoint Security is seeking a remote Cloud Security Engineer to design, implement and secure Azure environments for diverse clients. You will lead customer engagements, craft secure-by-design architectures, and drive infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform, ARM templates, and Bicep.

You will also advance AI and API management workloads, coordinate migrations from on-prem to Azure, and strengthen identity protections with Entra ID across customer tenants.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing Azure infrastructure in commercial or government cloud environments.
• Hands-on expertise with Terraform, ARM templates, Bicep and PowerShell.
• Strong knowledge of Azure landing zones, subscription management, networking and security.
• Familiarity with AI platform engineering (Azure AI Foundry) and API management (Azure APIM).
• Clear written and verbal communication skills to lead presentations and trainings.

Responsibilities

• Design secure Azure cloud architectures across Commercial and Government Cloud tenants.
• Collaborate with customer IT teams to deploy, configure and harden cloud resources.
• Build scalable Azure infrastructure using Terraform, ARM templates, Bicep and PowerShell.
• Plan and execute migration strategies moving workloads to Azure.
• Secure Microsoft Entra ID configurations and apply identity protections.
• Create architectural and data-flow diagrams for high availability and DR.
