Job summary

The Porch Group is seeking an Infrastructure Engineering Lead to drive Azure-based infrastructure and platform engineering for regulated financial systems. Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you will balance hands-on engineering with people leadership in a SAFe Agile environment.

You will lead a POD of DevOps, Compliance, and Release Management, own SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001:2022 controls, and work with Product, Security, Compliance, Audit, and IT Operations to deliver secure, compliant

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Infrastructure Engineering, Platform Engineering, or DevOps with leadership.
• Hands-on Azure platform experience in regulated financial environments.
• Strong CI/CD, IaC, automation, and reliability engineering.
• Experience with SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001:2022 operational controls.
• Understanding of SAFe Agile and scaled delivery environments.
• Experience administering Microsoft Entra ID and Office 365 in secure enterprises.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on leadership for Azure-based infrastructure, platform engineering, and DevOps capabilities.
• Architect, build, and operate secure, scalable Azure environments for regulated workloads.
• Lead Platform Engineering practices including CI/CD pipelines, IaC, automation, observability, and SRE.
• Own operational controls for SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001:2022, audit readiness, remediation.
• Embed security and compliance into SAFe Agile delivery, PI planning, and release execution.
• Participate in architectural reviews and technical design decisions.
• Lead Microsoft Entra ID & Office 365 administration and identity governance.
• Produce reporting on infrastructure, security, and O365 expenses and cost optimization.
• Mentor POD team and manage releases; collaborate with Product, Security, Compliance, Audit, IT Ops.
