Job summary

Databricks is seeking an Infrastructure & AI Platform Specialist Solutions Architect (SSA) to guide enterprise customers on the Databricks Platform on Microsoft Azure. You will design cloud infrastructure for AI workloads and lead architecture discussions with executives and technical teams.

The role emphasizes live coding in Python and SQL, cross-functional coordination, and shaping product directions based on customer needs. Remote work option is available.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in solutions architecture, technical pre-sales, or senior hands-on role.
• Hands-on experience architecting underlying cloud infrastructure for AI/ML workloads, including GPUs/TPU configuration and scalable model serving infrastructure.
• Expertise in Azure security controls, enterprise networking (ExpressRoute, Private Link), cost management, and identity protocols.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL with live coding and debugging skills.
• Strong background in distributed data systems, pipelines, streaming, and lakehouse patterns.

Responsibilities

• Guide customers through the full lifecycle of Databricks on Azure, from architecture to production deployment.
• Architect and scale compute/networking infrastructure for AI workloads and GenAI applications.
• Lead architecture discussions with senior stakeholders using whiteboarding and design reviews.
• Drive technical wins by demonstrating Databricks differentiation through custom solutions.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end customer solutions.
• Provide feedback on customer requirements and competitive gaps to influence product direction.
