Job summary

Databricks is seeking an Infrastructure & Platform Specialist Solutions Architect (SSA) to guide enterprise customers through Databricks deployments on Microsoft Azure, from design to production. The role can be remote, with travel up to 30% as needed.

You will architect secure, scalable deployments, advise on infrastructure, networking, identity, and security, and work with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive solutions. Strong Python/SQL skills and cloud experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a quantitative discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.
• Databricks certifications (Data Engineer, ML, Platform).
• Microsoft Azure certifications (Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Data Engineer).
• Experience with competitive platforms (Snowflake, AWS native services, Azure Synapse).

Responsibilities

• Guide strategic customers through the full lifecycle of Databricks on Azure, from architectural design to production deployment.
• Architect secure, scalable enterprise deployments meeting Azure networking, identity, and security standards.
• Lead architecture discussions with senior technical stakeholders using whiteboarding and design reviews.
• Orchestrate cross-functional resources to deliver complex customer solutions and drive platform adoption.
