Job summary

CBTS is seeking a Windows Server Systems Engineer with SharePoint and Exchange administration experience for a 6-month contract. The role focuses on installing, configuring, and maintaining enterprise applications including Exchange, SharePoint, and Office 365 within a 100% remote setup in the United States.

Responsibilities span capacity planning, system analysis, configuration, development of customizations, and cross-team collaboration to ensure security and reliability of the platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 3+ years’ experience in software package support and administration.
• Experience with SharePoint or Exchange administration.
• Knowledge of Health Insurance business processes and requirements.
• Experience with installation/configuration and maintenance of Exchange/SharePoint/Office 365.
• Capacity planning and performance management.
• Documentation for assigned applications.

Responsibilities

• Process Administration: document, maintain, and monitor package policies and standards.
• Capacity Administration: plan capacity, monitor disk space, optimize space.
• Vendor Contact: coordinate with vendors for installations, patches, upgrades.
• System Analysis: gather requirements and design improvements.
• Configuration: set up software packages and OS services; maintain environments.
• Development: design, test, and implement package customizations and integrations.
• Product Support: develop triage procedures and troubleshoot failures.
• Product Management: prioritize projects and manage risks.
• User Support: train and assist users.
• Project Support: assist development teams with software packages.
• Architecture: document software system architecture.
