Job summary

DevHub, Inc. seeks an experienced Cloud Architect to design and operate Azure-based cloud platforms for VA Enterprise Cloud environments. You will lead high-availability deployments, govern multi-subscription setups, and implement secure, compliant cloud solutions. Strong scripting, IaC, and monitoring skills are essential.

Remote U.S. position with nationwide scope; candidates must meet security clearance requirements and stay current with Azure technologies.

Qualifications

• Proven track record deploying Azure infrastructure and services.
• Experience with large-scale, high-availability cloud architectures.
• Expertise in Azure services: VMs, Blob, SQL DB, VNet, Functions, Entra ID, ARM, Monitor, DNS.
• Experience with Azure security: Entra ID, RBAC, DDoS Protection, WAF.
• Proficiency in Azure networking: VNet Peering, ExpressRoute, VPN Gateway, Private Endpoints, Load Balancer.
• Designing scalable, secure, highly available Azure clouds.
• Experience with multi-subscription governance (Management Groups, Azure Policy, Landing Zones).
• Cost management and FinOps in Azure.
• Scripting in Python/PowerShell/Bash/JS for automation.
• IaC using ARM Templates, Ansible, GitOps.
• Monitoring/logging with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, App Insights, Prom. Grafana, New Relic.
• Security and compliance: HIPAA, FedRAMP, NIST, GDPR, PCI DSS.
• Encryption and key management with Azure Key Vault and Entra ID.

Responsibilities

• Create data flow diagrams, cloud diagrams, transition diagrams, and architecture diagrams for Cloud Infrastructure, apps, and systems.
• Design, develop, deploy, and operate automation for CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage and control permissions in the cloud provider for each cloud application, storage, and service.
• Implement, manage, and design monitoring for cloud architecture to ensure performance and compliance.
• Provide customer-focused support for VA Enterprise Cloud environments, including setup and provisioning.
• Provide Cloud support for VAEC Azure GovCloud environments, ensuring VIP development/documentation compliance.
• Adopt a DevOps mindset with CI/CD practices and tooling.
• Provide Cloud Security Provider Documentation and address cloud-readiness gaps.
