Job summary

ICF is seeking an Azure Operations/AI Engineer to support enterprise AI capabilities in a secure federal cloud environment. The role focuses on operational support for AI services, Azure infrastructure, and DevSecOps practices to move AI into production.

Location is remote with a nationwide scope in the U.S. The candidate will work across cloud, data, security, and operations teams to configure, monitor, and troubleshoot AI platform components, automate delivery, and maintain compliance evidence.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience supporting data and AI technologies, including cloud-based AI or analytics
• Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines and Agile management tools
• Experience implementing infrastructure as code (IaC) with Terraform or cloud templates
• Hands-on Azure cloud infrastructure experience including identity, networking, storage, monitoring
• Experience with DevSecOps, security governance, vulnerability remediation in enterprise/federal environments
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in CS/engineering/IT, U.S. citizenship
• U.S. residency and work authorization in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support for enterprise AI capabilities, onboarding users and coordinating access
• Translate AI requirements into secure cloud configurations across Azure environments
• Design and maintain CI/CD workflows for AI and platform components
• Develop infrastructure as code with Terraform, ARM templates, and CloudFormation
• Implement logging, monitoring, and dashboards using Splunk, Azure Monitor, and AppDynamics
• Coordinate root cause analysis across teams and document actions and resolutions
• Support security/compliance activities including baseline configuration, ATO, and audit coordination
• Evaluate emerging AI/cloud/DevSecOps tech via PoCs and recommendations
• Support high availability, DR, backup, and continuity for AI infrastructure
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and maintain runbooks and governance docs
