Job summary

ICF is seeking a Data Engineer to design and maintain data pipelines and data models for analytics, reporting, and AI/ML use cases. You will implement lineage, quality checks, and release readiness while collaborating with data owners and governance teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3+ years of relevant experience for this role.
• Master's degree may substitute for 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data pipelines, transformations, semantic views, and conformed dimensions for analytics and AI/ML use cases.
• Implement pipeline documentation, lineage support, release-readiness evidence, quality checks, and defect resolution.
• Collaborate with data owners, governance, and customer-facing teams to ensure data products are reliable and ready for approved use.
• Apply ETL/ELT, SQL/Python, Databricks, Azure Data Factory or equivalent orchestration, data modeling, quality checks, and documentation.
• Coordinate with product, engineering, security, governance, quality, and customer-facing stakeholders as needed.
• Document work products, decisions, risks, and delivery evidence for traceability and continuous improvement.
