Job summary

ICF's Digital Modernization Division seeks an AI Engineer to operationalize AI/ML capabilities across data platforms for a federal client. You will build reusable AI/ML solutions, deployment frameworks, and MLOps pipelines using Databricks ML, Azure ML, and Python.

You will collaborate with governance, security, and business teams to ensure safe, scalable, and compliant AI deployments and support data-driven decision making at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/DS/AI/SE or related field; Master's may substitute for 2 years experience.
• 6+ years designing, developing, and deploying AI/ML solutions in enterprise cloud environments.
• Experience with cloud-native AI/ML toolchains and governance.

Responsibilities

• Develop NLP, text analytics, prompt orchestration, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop workflows.
• Translate unstructured-data use cases into repeatable technical patterns.
• Collaborate with Trustworthy AI, Security, Data Governance, and Customer Experience teams.
• Apply NLP, GenAI patterns, prompt orchestration, and Azure AI to support role delivery.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, security, governance, and stakeholders.
• Document work products, decisions, risks, and delivery evidence for traceability.
