Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Cloud Lead with AWS DevSecOps expertise to design, build, and optimize secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for enterprise environments.

The role emphasizes Terraform, AWS CDK, GitLab CI/CD, container platforms (ECS/EKS), and strong security, compliance, and observability practices, with a remote-USA work model and competitive incentive eligibility.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with AWS Cloud services (10+ years preferred).
• Strong hands-on Terraform and AWS CDK.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD and pipeline automation.
• Solid experience with container platforms (ECS/EKS, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in DevSecOps tools and security integration.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust GitLab CI/CD pipelines for multi-environment deployments.
• Configure GitLab Runners (EC2/EKS) for scalability, performance, and security.
• Optimize pipelines with parallelism, caching, and artifact reuse.
• Implement automated release management with tagging and rollback strategies.
• Develop IaC using Terraform and AWS CDK with modular patterns.
• Automate provisioning of AWS services (VPC, IAM, EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3).
• Manage multi-account/multi-region AWS environments and CDK pipelines.
• Implement blue/green, canary, and rolling deployments.
• Automate container deployments to ECS/EKS and manage Kubernetes with Helm.
• Enforce security within CI/CD (SAST/DAST).
• Enable PCI DSS, SOC 2, GDPR, CIS compliance reporting.
