Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Cloud Lead- AWS DevSecOps to design, implement, and optimize scalable cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and secure deployment frameworks for remote USA operations.

The ideal candidate will have deep AWS, DevSecOps, and GitLab experience, with Terraform and AWS CDK, container platforms, and a strong focus on security, compliance, and observability across multi-account environments.

Qualifications

• Extensive AWS cloud experience with design and deployment across environments.
• Hands-on Terraform and AWS CDK for modular IaC solutions.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD and pipeline automation.
• Container platforms such as ECS/EKS, Kubernetes.
• Strong focus on DevSecOps, security integration, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust GitLab CI/CD pipelines with multi-stage YAML.
• Manage GitLab Runners (EC2/EKS) for scalable deployments.
• Optimize pipelines with caching, parallelism, and artifacts reuse.
• Implement automated release management with tagging, versioning, and rollback.
• Develop IaC using Terraform and AWS CDK with reusable patterns.
• Automate provisioning of AWS services (VPC, IAM, EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3).
• Build multi-account, multi-region deployments and secure deployment strategies.
• Automate deployments to ECS/EKS and manage Helm charts for Kubernetes.
• Integrate security controls (SAST/DAST, secrets management) into pipelines.
• Enable observability with CloudWatch, Datadog, Splunk, and Grafana.
