Job summary

Morning Consult, LLC is actively hiring for an AI-powered infra-focused DevOps role. This position supports building and operating the platform, owning pipelines, and shaping architecture with product and data engineers.

You’ll influence decisions and drive end-to-end initiatives from scoping to rollout. You’ll work with AWS core services, IaC tooling, and CI/CD, while leveraging AI tools to accelerate delivery.

Qualifications

• Hands-on AWS experience with core services (EC2, EKS/ECS, S3, IAM, networking).
• 2-4 years of DevOps engineering experience in a small or mid-size company.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform or CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Track record of owning projects end to end and explaining tradeoffs to engineers outside infra.
• Curiosity about AI and using AI tools to speed up infra, debugging or automation work.
• Nice to have: Kubernetes experience.

Responsibilities

• Own infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines for safe, frequent releases.
• Provide an infrastructure perspective in early architecture decisions.
• Improve observability, alerting, incident response, root-cause analysis.
• Lead defined infrastructure projects from scoping to rollout.
• Maintain secure, reliable, cost-efficient AWS environment.
• Review teammates' infrastructure code and share learnings.
• Incorporate AI tools into infra work to accelerate the team.
