Job summary

Meridian Systematics is seeking a Cloud Engineer to automate deployments, optimize AWS performance, and secure cloud infrastructure in an Agile environment. You will handle full-stack operational support, monitoring, enterprise authentication, and technical customer service.

The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance, U.S. citizenship, and 8+ years IT experience with strong AWS, DevOps, and development skills. A bachelor’s degree is required, with DoD 8570 Level II compliance preferred.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI security clearance; U.S. Citizenship required.
8+ years of IT experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field; or equivalent work/military experience.
DoD 8570 IAT Level II compliant (Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA).

Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure & Security: Maintain AWS environment (EC2, S3, Load Balancers, RDS); optimize for cost and autoscaling.
DevOps & Automation: Automate deployments, build CI/CD pipelines, support containerized apps in production.
Software Development: Design features, refactor legacy code, write unit tests, manage databases.
Technical Support & Leadership: Gather requirements, resolve issues, document work, mentor junior developers.
