Job summary

Bureau Veritas is seeking an Inspector to oversee the fabrication facility's quality assurance for the client during construction. The role requires extensive knowledge of AWS codes and proven inspection experience.

You will coordinate with the Project Manager, fabrication shops, contractors, and other parties to resolve scheduling and scope issues. You will generate timesheets, billing reports, and inspection reports using Word/Adobe Acrobat, transmitting them electronically to the Project

Qualifications

• Certified Welding Inspector (AWS) required.
• Experience with AWS codes and inspection roles highly preferred.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee QA for fabrication facility and client during construction.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, shops, contractors, and third parties to resolve issues.
• Generate and process timesheets, billing and inspection reports; submit reports electronically.
• Ensure work complies with project requirements and contract terms.
• Maintain positive relationships between BV, fabrication facility and client.
• Communicate upcoming assignments and potential BV work to stakeholders.
