Strategic Innovation Group is seeking a Cloud DevSecOps Engineer to design, provision, secure, and maintain cloud infrastructure for government engagements. You will leverage AWS expertise, Terraform/Ansible IaC, and CloudBolt for hybrid cloud governance.

The role sits at the intersection of cloud engineering and DevSecOps, requiring automation, secure infrastructure, and tooling integration across environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 8+ years in cloud engineering, DevOps, DevSecOps, or infra engineering.
• Hands-on AWS experience including core compute, storage, networking, and security services.
• Proven experience authoring and deploying infrastructure with Terraform.
• Proven experience with configuration management/automation using Ansible.
• Direct experience with CloudBolt or similar platforms.
• Strong scripting/coding ability (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation.
• Solid understanding of DevSecOps, CI/CD, and security-as-code.
• Experience provisioning in hybrid or multi-account clouds.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain AWS cloud infra for production and dev environments using Well-Architected Framework.
• Author, test, and maintain Terraform IaC for provisioning resources.
• Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks/roles for config management and deployment.
• Administer and extend CloudBolt for self-service provisioning and governance.
• Implement DevSecOps practices across the delivery lifecycle, including security scanning.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infra and app deployment.
• Write scripts (Python, Bash, PowerShell) to automate tasks and integrate tools.
• Monitor cloud environments for performance, cost, security, and availability.
• Enforce IAM, network segmentation, secrets management, and encryption controls.
• Collaborate with program mgmt, engineering, and client stakeholders to translate requirements.
• Document architecture, processes, and runbooks for continuity.
• Support audits and compliance activities (FedRAMP, NIST 800-53) as applicable.
• Develop serverless workflows and data pipelines using AWS Lambda, Glue, Step Functions, EventBridge.
