Peraton is seeking a motivated AWS Cloud Engineer to join our remote team, accountable for the performance, reliability, and scalability of critical platforms. You will design and maintain cloud infrastructure, monitor systems, and implement automation to improve operational efficiency.

Responsibilities include supporting data-driven decision making, collaborating with data engineers and security teams, and delivering secure, scalable AWS solutions while following best practices.

Qualificações

• Strong AWS architecture, networking, and security expertise.
• Proven Terraform IaC implementation experience.
• Experience designing GitLab CI/CD pipelines for enterprise delivery.
• Proficient scripting with Python and Bash; Ansible is a plus.
• Familiarity with observability (CloudWatch, Grafana) and disaster recovery.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build AWS cloud infrastructure using IaC (Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI).
• Guide ADTs on cloud solution patterns, deployment strategies, and architecture decisions.
• Own automation end-to-end from IaC authorship to production operations.
• Participate in on-call rotation and contribute to observability/monitoring practices.
• Provide technical support and guidance to AWS users and managed services.
• Monitor AWS environments and troubleshoot incidents to ensure high availability.
