University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) seeks an Assistant Vice President for Digital Student Experience within the Learner Experience design team. The AVP will drive improvements across platforms, processes, and services to enhance learner engagement, satisfaction, and retention.

This role requires data-driven leadership and strong collaboration with the IT department and cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has a Master's degree with at least ten years of relevant experience,

Qualifications

Master's degree from a regionally accredited institution is required.
At least ten years of relevant experience including at least three years in a supervisory role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with a history of leading cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Drive improvements in the student experience across the lifecycle focusing on platforms, processes, and services managed within Learner Experience and Success (LENS).
Serve as internal consultant to SMEs across the institution and translate pain points into actionable roadmaps.
Act as liaison connecting LENS to the UMGC IT department and advocate for learners' needs.
Utilize data and qualitative research to guide strategic decisions and track impact on engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
