Job summary

Acrisure Re seeks an AVP, Contracts to ensure accurate and consistent reinsurance contracts by refining requests with brokers and applying technical writing to review and deliver contracts, I&Ls, and related documents.

The role reports to the VP, Head of Contracts, North America and involves cross-border collaboration within a global contracts team, automation initiatives, and a strong emphasis on accuracy and professional writing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required, preference for English or Technical Writing.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience on a Contracts team, or 1 year with a law degree.
• Strong Word proficiency and ability to edit and draft documents.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and deliver reinsurance contract documents reflecting negotiated terms.
• Revise documents through lifecycle, ensuring alignment with terms.
• Apply automated tools to finalize contract documents accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with broker teams to obtain detailed contract information and promote efficient workflow.
• Recommend coverage wording enhancements and raise potential issues as appropriate.
• Engage in calls with clients and markets in a professional manner.
• Utilize Word to manage a high volume of documents efficiently and accurately.
• Adhere to Acrisure Re processes and drafting guidelines for 100% accuracy.
