Job summary

Vehicle Fleet Services, the asset protection and vehicle remarketing leader, seeks a Remote Automotive Key Account Manager to grow a nationwide dealership network through AssuraCar programs and expert consulting. You will onboard new accounts, nurture relationships with owners and managers, and help maximize inventory value.

Top performers can earn monthly commissions exceeding $20,000; a start-up guarantee may apply, with travel within the market as needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of wholesale automotive or automotive industry experience required.
• 2+ years of sales experience (automotive industry preferred).
• Knowledge of automotive sales, vehicle wholesaling, inventory management, appraisals, and auto auctions required.
• Existing relationships with dealership owners, general managers, used car managers, or automotive decision-makers preferred.
• Automotive buyer or acquisition experience preferred.
• Experience with dealerships, wholesale auctions, fleet services, vehicle remarketing programs preferred.
• Ability to develop new business opportunities and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while effectively managing an assigned market.

Responsibilities

• Identify and onboard new accounts in the assigned market.
• Maintain strong client relationships and increase participation in the AssuraCar program.
• Provide wholesale liquidation consulting and maximize returns on aging or excess inventory.
• Collaborate with auction partners and industry organizations to expand awareness of services.
• Visit dealerships and partners as needed to develop business and support clients.
• Support dealership leaders with asset protection strategies and inventory performance.
