Job summary

Oxley Enterprises, Inc. is seeking an Automation Test Engineer to ensure software quality for projects supporting the VA. The role combines automated and manual testing, collaborating with developers and business analysts across the SDLC to craft test plans and scripts.

You will analyze specifications, execute tests, document defects, and contribute to post-release validation. Ideal candidates have 4+ years in automation testing and a BS in CS or related field.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of automation software testing experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Excellent experience developing and executing automated test scripts.
• Excellent experience building test plans and procedures.
• Above average experience with Agile methodology and sprint-based testing cycles.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and analyzes system specifications.
• Develops effective test strategies, plans, and procedures with stakeholders.
• Executes automated test cases and analyzes results.
• Evaluates product code according to specifications.
• Creates logs to document testing phases and defects; verifies requirements.
• Reports bugs to development teams and helps troubleshoot issues.
• Performs post-release/post-implementation testing.
• Ensures quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
