Job summary

Advanced Systems Design, Inc. is seeking a SQA Tester (Automation) for a CARMA enhancements program with the Department of Veterans Affairs.

This is a remote opportunity supporting federal healthcare software across the SDLC. The role focuses on developing and executing test strategies, automating tests with Provar and Selenium, validating requirements, and collaborating with analysts, developers, and product owners to ensure high-quality releases.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software quality assurance or testing experience.
• Experience creating test cases and executing functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience with defect tracking, test evidence, requirements traceability, and Agile delivery.
• Experience with test automation frameworks/tools (e.g., Selenium and Provar)
• Ability to build efficient, robust automated test cases and maintain tests across multiple sandboxes/environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and Salesforce platform concepts such as data model, security, and releases.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test strategies, plans, cases, scripts, and traceability for functional, integration, regression, system, and UAT testing.
• Validate requirements and acceptance criteria across supported applications, interfaces, data, roles, and workflows.
• Record, triage, retest, and close defects with clear evidence, severity, impact, and reproducible steps.
• Collaborate with analysts, developers, product owners, and stakeholders to improve quality throughout the SDLC.
• Report test progress, risks, coverage, and release readiness using objective evidence.
